SIM free LG Optimus 4X HD available in the UK now
British retailers have started selling the LG Optimus 4X HD, which has been released in other markets since June.
Amazon UK is offering the Optimus 4X HD SIM-free, in both black, and white, asking £446 (€565 or $699) for it.
Expansys comes with a better deal, selling the new Android Ice Cream Sandwich handset for only £399.99 (also in black, or white).
If you don’t want to buy the Optimus 4X HD SIM-free, TheInquirer discovered that Phones4U is taking pre-orders on plans from Orange, T-Mobile, Vodafone, and O2. The smartphone is free with plans starting at £27 per month, and should be in stock starting August 23.
The Optimus 4X HD is LG’s first quad-core smartphone. It runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, and features a 4.7 inch HD IPS display, Optimus UI 3.0, 8MP rear camera, 1.3MP front-facing camera, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, and a 2140 mAh battery.
