Huawei Ascend P1 and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 now available in the UK. Galaxy Note 10.1 gets priced
The Huawei Ascend P1 and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 are now both available in the UK via well known third party retailer Clove. The tablet comes in Wi-Fi-only or Wi-Fi+3G versions, the latter of course SIM-free – as is the Ascend P1.
Both of these devices have taken their sweet time arriving in the UK after their respective announcements. It took the Huawei Ascend P1 seven months to do so, and the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 five and a half. So if you’ve been patient this far, it’s time to run over to Clove and order either one.
The Huawei Ascend P1 can be yours for £370.80. It comes with a dual-core 1.5 GHz processor, a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen, an 8 MP BSI camera, and it runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 comes with 16 GB of internal storage, a 10.1-inch 1280×800 touchscreen, a 1 GHz dual-core processor, a 3 MP rear camera, a 7,000 mAh battery, and it runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
The Wi-Fi-only variant costs £316.80, and if you need 3G data connectivity as well, you’ll need to shell out £418.80.
The new Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet should be out in the UK today, yet only at one Samsung brand store. If that’s out of your way or you simply like ordering online, know that you can pre-order one of these at Clove right now. Furthermore, the retailer has published some official pricing (which is still subject to change, though).
Prices are available just for the versions with 16 GB of built-in storage. If you go Wi-Fi-only, you’ll pay £414. If you want 3G as well, you’ll have to pony up £508.80.
Unfortunately, there are still no details about when this tablet will be in stock, so stay tuned. We’ll let you know when we find out.
