Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for LG Optimus 2X rolling out in Korea now
After months of speculations and alleged cancellations, the LG Optimus 2X is now finally getting an official update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
The update is currently available only for the South Korean version of the handset (model number SU660), but we’ll likely see it rolled-out in other countries soon – possibly starting with Singapore.
Here is a direct download link for the ICS package that will reach SU660 users across Korea. The downloadable file is a .kdz one, and in case you need instructions on how to manage that, you should visit XDA Developers.
Other older LG Gingerbread smartphones that should be updated to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich soon are the Optimus Black, Optimus 3D, and Optimus LTE.
