Sony Xperia Tablet S headed to Canada
Officially announced just two days ago, the Sony Xperia Tablet S should be released in the US on September 7. If you’re wondering when the device will be introduced in Canada, we don’t have an exact answer.
However, Sony Canada’s official website is already listing the 16GB and 32GB versions of the tablet. While you can’t buy either of them, at least you know their prices are similar to those for the US market: $399.99 and $499.99, respectively.
As you may have already heard, the Xperia Tablet S features a 9.4 inch display with 1280 x 800 pixels, quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8MP rear camera, 1MP front-facing camera, and a 6,000 mAh battery. It will run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich at launch, but Sony has promised an update to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
