New Oppo Find 5 phablet with Android Jelly Bean and 1080p, 441ppi display in the making
China-based Oppo just can’t stop making interesting devices. After the Oppo Finder (launched as the world’s thinnest smartphone) and the Oppo Find5 X990 (touted as the thinnest quad-core smartphone), the company is now readying the launch of a 5-inch phablet with a 1920 x 1080 pixels display, and an amazing 441ppi – higher than anything else on the market right now (for example, iPhone 4S’ retina display has 326ppi).
The new handset is seemingly also called Oppo Find5, but a different model number probably follows after that name. Anyway, CNMO and IT168 say that the device is a prototype for now, so there’s no word on when it will be released. But it might look like this when it hits the market:
It’s said that the 5 inch Oppo phablet will run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, featuring a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 processor (which makes perfect sense for such a display). We’ll bring more info on this as we get it.
