HTC’s 8X and 8S Windows Phones priced in the UK, should be launched in November
The first two Windows Phone 8 handsets from HTC – the HTC 8X and HTC 8S – can be pre-ordered in the UK as of now. Unlocked Mobiles lets customers order them both, SIM-free.
The high-end HTC 8X has been priced at £398.98 (about €497, or $646), and is expected to ship starting November 5. You can pre-order it here.
The HTC 8S is significantly cheaper, costing £224.98 (about €280, or $364). It should be available starting November 15.
Of course, the two smartphones will be also available on monthly plans through various UK networks – although for the moment only Three confirmed it will offer the 8X and 8S.
In the US, the HTC 8X will be released by AT&T and T-Mobile.
