Android 4.1 Jelly Bean updates for Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF700 and Prime TF201 coming soon
Asus has unveiled that its Transformer Pad Infinity (TF700) and Transformer Pad Prime (TF201) tablets are now ready to be officially updated to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The news comes not long after the company updated the Transformer Pad TF300 to the latest version of Android.
It looks like users in the US and Canada will start receiving Jelly Bean on their Transformer tablets “within the next 72 hours.” Most probably, updates for other markets will be rolled-out soon, too.
Next month, on October 16, Asus should announce its first device to run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean from day one: the Padfone 2. Of course, the Nexus 7 has been already launched running Jelly Bean, but that’s more of a Google device than an Asus one.
