Sony Xperia U, Xperia Go and Xperia Sola getting Android 4.0 ICS starting today

Sony has announced a new wave of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich updates – this time for the Xperia U, Xperia Go, and Xperia Sola. The three handsets are getting their ICS fix starting today, and all users around the world should see the update “over the next few weeks.”

Apart from getting ICS, the Xperia U, Xperia Go and Xperia Solo will also get new media applications, including Sony Walkman, Album, and Music.

The Xperia Sola will receive an exclusive new feature, called “Glove Mode.” This allows you to use the smartphone’s screen while wearing gloves – perfect for cold wintry days.
