Samsung begins mass production of wireless charging modules for smartphones
Today, in South Korea, Samsung announced that it has started mass-producing wireless charging modules for smartphones.
The new module – developed by Samsung Electro-Mechanics, and pictured below – is really thin, and can be attached to a smartphone’s back cover (on the inside, of course).
Samsung already has a handset that supports wireless charting – the Galaxy S III flagship. And now that wireless charging modules are being mass-produced, we should expect newer Samsung smartphones to support the technology, too.
