Samsung Ativ Odyssey with Windows Phone 8 headed to Verizon. T-Mobile’s Nokia Lumia 810 and HTC 8X will be out on November 14
Today, Microsoft has reconfirmed that AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile are all going to launch Windows Phone 8 devices in the US.
We knew about most of the upcoming WP8 handsets, except for one – the Samsung Ativ Odyssey, which, according to Microsoft, will be released by Verizon in December. The Ativ Odyssey hasn’t been pictured, but it should be a variant of the Samsung Ativ S.
Before launching the Ativ Odyssey, Verizon will introduce the HTC 8X, and the Nokia Lumia 822 (officially announced earlier today). Both will be available “before Thanksgiving”. The HTC 8X is priced at $199.99 on contract, while the Lumia 822 will cost $99.99 on contract.
T-Mobile will also launch the HTC 8X (pictured below) – starting November 14 (as rumored), for $149.99 on contract. The fourth largest US carrier is going to release the Nokia Lumia 810 the same day, for $99.99 on contract.
As for AT&T, it will have three WP8 handsets: the Nokia Lumia 920 flagship, Nokia Lumia 820, and HTC 8X. Pricing details haven’t been unveiled, but we know they’ll all be available sometime in November (with the Lumia 920 possibly arriving on November 11).
