HTC Desire C launched by Cricket as its latest Muve Music Android phone
Already released in Europe, Asia, and even Canada, the HTC Desire C is now available in the US, too, thanks to Cricket Wireless.
The regional US carrier is selling the Desire C for just $179.99, without contract. Included in Cricket’s Muve Music-compatible line-up of handsets, the Desire C features Android ICS with Sense 4.0 UI, a 3.5 inch HVGA display, Beats Audio technology, 5MP rear camera, 600MHz processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory, and 25GB of free online space on Dropbox.
At the moment, HTC does not plan to offer updates to Android Jelly Bean for the Desire C, so the smartphone will most likely remain on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich until the end of its days.
