Samsung Ativ S with Windows Phone 8 now shipping in the UK
Samsung’s first Windows Phone 8 handset, the Ativ S, is shipping in the UK now – at least from Expansys, which asks £449.99 (about €563 or $718) for the SIM-free 16GB model.
You can order the smartphone here. Expansys says it can “normally” deliver it in “less than 5 days.”
Update: it looks like the Ativ S is, in fact, delayed until late December or early 2013.
As you may already know, the Samsung Ativ S features a 4.8 inch Super AMOLED HD display, 8MP rear camera, 1.9MP front-facing camera, 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor, 1GB of RAM, and MicroSD card support.
If you want to buy the Samsung Ativ S on contract, O2 (and probably other carriers as well) will offer it in the UK starting later this month.
