AT&T Samsung Captivate Glide Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update out tomorrow
The Samsung Captivate Glide will finally receive its Ice Cream Sandwich update tomorrow. The smartphone, launched about a year ago, has been stuck on Gingerbread for all this time. Sad.
Aside from everything that Android 4.0 brings to the table, this update also comes with a new lockscreen that lets you unlock directly to the camera, text messaging app, or dialer. AT&T hasn’t detailed any other additions to stock ICS, but we’re pretty sure there will be many to discover once you’ve updated.
Starting tomorrow, the update (alongside all the necessary details) will be waiting for you on this page. Note that this won’t be an over-the-air rollout. Rather, you’ll need to use a computer to perform the update.
