White HTC One S 64GB with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean goes on sale in Taiwan
The original HTC One S was introduced this spring with 16GB of internal memory, in two color versions (black and gradient blue), and running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Now the handset is available in white, too, although only in Taiwan.
The white One S doesn’t just look different from the black and blue editions. It comes with enhanced features: Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and Sense 4+ out of the box, and 64GB of internal memory (just like AT&T’s HTC One X+). The rest of its specifications haven’t been changed, including: a 4.3 inch qHD Super AMOLED display, 8MP rear camera, VGA front-facing camera, dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, and 1GB of RAM.
According to ePrice, the white HTC One S 64GB costs 17,900 Taiwan dollars – about $616 or €485.
HTC didn’t say if the white One S (or any other 64GB edition of it) would be released outside Taiwan. But we’ll et you know if it happens.
