Black Friday: Apple discounts newest iPad by up to $61

Apple’s joined in the great amazing celebration of shopping that is Black Friday. Today only, the company is offering some discounts for its full-size iPads. Interestingly, the newly launched iPad Mini isn’t part of Apple’s Black Friday deals, even though the latest ‘big’ iPad (let’s call it iPad 4) – is.

Speaking of that, if you’re interested in buying the iPad 4, know that it starts at $458. That’s how much the 16 GB Wi-Fi version is going for, $41 less than usual. The 32 GB Wi-Fi iPad 4 is $548, $51 less than the normal price. The 64 GB Wi-Fi model now retails for $638, which is $61 less than you’d expect.

The same savings are available for the Wi-Fi + 4G units. You can save $41 for the 16 GB model (which is now priced at $588), $51 off of the 32 GB tablet’s pricing (now at $678), and, finally, a grand total of $61 if you opt to get the most expensive iPad of them all: the one with 64 GB of storage and 4G LTE support. That’s now going for $768.

The iPad 2 has been discounted as well. The Wi-Fi-only variant is priced at $368, $31 less than usual. If you want data connectivity as well, the tablet will cost you $498 (again, $31 less than the normal price). The iPad 2 is only available with 16 GB of storage, and that’s the way it has been ever since the iPad 3 was released.

If you’re interested in taking advantage of one of Apple’s offers, this is where you need to go.
