HTC One VX now available at AT&T for $49.99
Right on the latest schedule (the second time’s the charm, apparently), the HTC One VX is now available to purchase from AT&T. The price being asked for this smartphone is $49.99 with a new two-year contract.
The HTC One VX is a midrange device manufactured exclusively for AT&T (at least thus far), and it comes wit a 4.5-inch 540×960 qHD touchscreen, a 5 MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash, a secondary front-facing camera too, a dual-core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of built-in storage expandable via microSD, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and a 1,800 mAh battery. It runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich at the moment, but an update to version 4.1 Jelly Bean has been promised to come soon (though no more details are known).
The One VX is priced extremely well for its specs, especially with such a price coming straight from a carrier. However, do expect the big third party retailers such as Amazon and Wirefly to offer it even cheaper in a few days or weeks. So if upfront cost is everything to you, holding off on a purchase right now may be the best thing to do.
If, on the other hand, you feel that $50 really isn’t that much anyway, and are interested in grabbing an HTC One VX right now, head over to AT&T and do it.
