Samsung Galaxy S II Plus GT-i9105P and Grand Duos GT-i9082 show up in photos
Two unannounced – but previously rumored – Samsung smartphones have been pictured just recently: the Galaxy S II Plus (model number GT-i9105P), and the Galaxy Grand Duos (model number GT-i9082).
The Galaxy S II Plus GT-i9105, which could be officially unveiled later this month, looks a loot like the original Galaxy S II i9100 (launched in the first half of 2011).
Running Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean, the S II Plus seemingly features a 4.3 inch WVGA display (not qHD, as previously reported), dual-core 1GHz processor, 8MP rear camera with flash, and a 2MP front-facing camera. It weighs 121 grams, and measures 125.3 x 66.1 x 8.98 mm.
The second new Samsung handset is the Galaxy Grand Duos GT-i9082. We’ve heard this would pack a 5 inch display and a quad-core processor, but that doesn’t seem to be true. Instead, the handset should feature a 4.5 inch WVGA screen, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 8MP rear camera, 2MP front-facing camera, and Android 4.1Jelly Bean. Obviously – as its name suggests – the Grand Duos is a dual SIM device.
Since both the Galaxy S II Plus and Galaxy Grand Duos have been spotted in China, they might be released there first. More details as we get them.
