Verizon’s Motorola Droid Razr Maxx HD now $149.99 at Wirefly
Verizon Wireless introduced the Motorola Droid Razr Maxx HD back in October 2012, asking $299.99 for a unit (on contract). At the moment, the carrier is asking the same price for it.
As (almost) always, Amazon started selling the handset for less – namely $199.99. But now Wirefly has an even better offer: it allows customers to buy the Droid Razr Maxx HD for only $149.99 on contract (new lines only).
Sure enough, the Razr Maxx HD may have lost a bit of its appeal when Verizon released the HTC Droid DNA (the first smartphone in the US to feature a 1080p display). But it’s still a very capable handset, its strong point being the huge 3,300 mAh battery which offers performances unmatched by any other Android smartphone. So, if you need a Razr Maxx HD and a new 2-yr contract with Verizon, go here at Wirefly and pay just $149.99 for the device.
It’s not just the battery that’s nice in the Droid Razr Maxx HD. You also get a 4.7 inch Super AMOLED display with 1280 x 720 pixels, LTE connectivity, splash resistant coating, Kevlar fiber on the back, 8MP rear camera, 1.3Mp front-facing camera, dual-core 1.5GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal memory. The Maxx HD was launched running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, and received its Android Jelly Bean update last month (December 2012).
