Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE coming to US Cellular soon

Verizon and Sprint aren’t the only CDMA / LTE US carriers that are going to sell the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. US Cellular will do it, too.

The Note 10.1 has appeared over at US Cellular’s official website (here), although the carrier doesn’t say when it’s going to release it. But it does say you’ll have to pay $499.99 for it (on contract, after an instant rebate).

Unfortunately, although the Wi-Fi version of the Note 10.1 has been already updated to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, the US Cellular edition of the tablet will run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich at launch.

Update: the Note 10.1 that’s currently listed over at US Cellular doesn’t have LTE. But an LTE-capable model (SCH-i925U) is coming soon to the carrier.

As you probably know, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 features a 10.1 inch PLS Gorilla Glass display with 1280 x 800 pixels, TouchWiz UI, S Pen, dual band Wi-Fi, 1.9MP front-facing camera, 5MP rear camera, dual-core 1.4GHz Qualcomm processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, 50GB of free Dropbox cloud storage, MicroSD card support, and a 7,000 mAh battery.

In about a month (at MWC 2013), Samsung should officially announce at least one new Galaxy Note. Most probably, we’re going to see the Note 8.0 at MWC (this, of course, will run Android Jelly Bean from day one).
