Evasi0n untethered jailbreak for iOS 6.x released, works on iPhone 5 too

Evasi0n, for that’s its official moniker, will happily jailbreak your iOS 6.0 or iOS 6.1-running device – even if it’s an iPhone 5. One thing you’ll need to note – this only works for iOS 6.x, and it doesn’t work on the 3rd generation Apple TV. But iPhones, iPod touches, and iPads… no problem!
This is a great accomplishment, especially since lately the jailbreaking scene wasn’t quite able to produce the instant hacks we were used to back in the day. That, of course, has to do with Apple’s increasing efforts to make its software virtually un-jailbreakable. But even Apple isn’t perfect, as Evasi0n definitely proves.
