Neo N003 set to offer quad-core CPU, 5.3″ HD screen, 13 MP camera, and 3,000 mAh battery for $160
Once again, a Chinese phone maker shows us a device with excellent high-end specs which will be sold at an unbelievably low price. The Neo N003 is in the works, and it may get officially announced in March, followed by actual retail availability in April or May.
Sure, that means there’s still some waiting to do if you’re after this device. Furthermore, an expected caveat applies too: it will only be sold in China.
That aside though, what do you think you’d get from any other phone maker in any other place around the world for a price of $160, unlocked?
Because the Neo N003 will come with a 5.3-inch 720p HD touchscreen, a quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor, a 13 MP rear camera, and a 3,000 mAh battery. It will obviously run some version of Android, but it’s still unclear which one exactly.
With such specs the N003 will be a better buy than virtually all its similarly-priced rivals from the likes of JiaYu and Umi.
And out here in not-China, we can only hope than one day all of these companies will decide to sell (at least some of) their wares in other places as well.
