Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 to be available in Europe in three versions
The Galaxy Note 8.0 should be Samsung’s response to Apple’s iPad Mini – which, with its 7.9 inch display, is in a class of its own.
Although we’ve seen the Note 8.0 several times until now, there aren’t any official details regarding its availability. However, if we’re looking at what the Bluetooth SIG is saying, the new tablet should certainly be released in Europe – just like the Galaxy Tab 3 Plus P8200 (which seemingly sports a 10.1 inch display with 2560 x 1600 pixels).
The Galaxy Note 8.0 will have at least three slightly different versions: GT-N5100 (Wi-Fi + 3G), GT-N5110 (Wi-Fi only), and GT-N5105 (Wi-Fi + 3G + LTE). According to the info found here, here and here, all three are headed for Europe. Of course, we’re expecting Samsung to introduce the tablet(s) in North America, too, as well as in Asia.

The Galaxy Note 8.0 – possibly pictured above – could be officially announced later this month, during MWC 2013. Its features should include Android Jelly Bean, a 1280 x 800 pixels display, S Pen stylus, quad-core processor (likely an Exynos unit), 5MP rear camera, and 2GB of RAM.
It’s said that prices for the Wi-Fi only Note 8.0 will start at €450. That would be a bit too expensive, considering that Apple is selling the iPad Mini 16GB starting at €339. In any case, let’s wait for Samsung to confirm the existence of the tablet first.
