Nokia Lumia 720 and Lumia 520 arrive in the UK on April 1
The Nokia Lumia 720 and Lumia 520 were officially announced two days ago at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Nokia mentioned that they’ll be out in parts of Asia before the end of March, then elsewhere after that.
Well, if you’re in the UK and are wondering when exactly you’ll be able to purchase either of these, we now have the answer for you.
Both phones will become available on April 1 in SIM-free and unlocked form from well known retailer Clove. The Lumia 720 will retail for £299.99, and the Lumia 520 will go for £169.99.
You can pre-order the Lumia 720 and the Lumia 520 from Clove right now. Be advised though that the full amount you need to pay will be charged immediately. This is because Clove has confirmed both the pricing and the release date with Nokia, and neither is expected to change. That said, you can cancel your order at any time before it ships in case you change your mind.
Unfortunately for Nokia and its sales prospects, neither of these devices is well priced, despite what the official announcement claimed. Let’s hope they’ll get discounted soon after release.
