EE: Samsung Galaxy S4 will have LTE in the UK
That’s what EE is saying – at the same time confirming that it’s going to carry the new Galaxy. The network (a joint venture between Orange and T-Mobile) doesn’t mention when the handset will be available for purchase in the UK – but it allows interested customers to register for further details here. Other major British networks will certainly offer the S4, too, but they haven’t officially confirmed this yet.
It’s not exactly clear if the new device will be called Galaxy S4, or Galaxy S IV. But the final name doesn’t really matter anyway. What matters is that tomorrow (March 14) we’ll finally get to see one of the most anticipated smartphones of 2013 – which, as rumored countless times until now, should come with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, a 5 inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, quad-core (or eight core) processor, and many other high-end features.
Samsung has sold more than 40 million Galaxy S III handsets around the world, and hopes to ship 100 million S4 units. Will it make it? We’ll have to wait about a year to find out.
