Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie updates coming to Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, Galaxy S4, S III and others

The brand new Galaxy S4 is Samsung’s first smartphone to run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box, and, due to its high-end nature, it’s certainly going to be updated to the next major version(s) of Android. But what about the rest of Samsung’s products?

Well, SamMobile has what looks to be a preliminary list of Samsung smartphones and tablets that are upgradeable to Android 5.0 (Key Lime Pie) and 4.2.

Without further ado, here are the devices expected to get Android 5.0 at some point:

  • Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE (GT-N8005)
  • Galaxy Note 10.1 Wi-Fi (GT-N8010)

As for Android 4.2, this should be rolled-out to the following Samsung devices (which reportedly won’t be updated further):

  • Galaxy S III Mini (GT-I8190)
  • Galaxy S II (GT-I9100)
  • Galaxy S II Plus (GT-I9105)
