The BlackBerry Q10 can now be pre-ordered in SIM-free and unlocked form if you’re in the UK. The QWERTY-packing device running the all-new BlackBerry 10 operating system is expected in stock on April 26 at Unlocked Mobiles, while Clove provides a more generic “late April” estimate for when it will start shipping this handset.
So it’s still far off. But if you want to ensure that you’ll be one of the first people in the UK to get one of these, then surely you’re willing to jump over to either Unlocked Mobiles or Clove right now and pre-order a Q10.
The price you’ll need to pay is £529.98 at Unlocked Mobiles, and respectively £534.99 at Clove. So the BlackBerry Q10 will be anything but cheap, but if you want the latest in terms of software from BlackBerry, while still loving a good-old physical keyboard, this is your only choice for the next few months. So start saving up, if you haven’t already.
The BlackBerry Q10 is also expected in the US later on. But, like with the all-touch Z10, the UK seems to be the first market to get this model.
The BlackBerry Q10 has a 3.1-inch 720×720 touchscreen, an 8 MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash, a dual-core 1.5 GHz processor, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, all the usual connectivity options, and a 2,100 mAh battery.
