Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini could be announced this week
Samsung might be ready to officially unveil the Galaxy S4 Mini soon – just weeks after the company announced the big Galaxy S4.
We have already seen the S4 Mini in leaked photos, hence we know it simply looks like a smaller S4.
Sam Mobile reports that Samsung intends to present the S4 Mini to the world sometime this week. The smartphone could go on sale starting late May, or early June, in two color versions: black and white.
As previously revealed, the Galaxy S4 Mini features a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED display with 960 x 540 pixels, 8MP rear camera, front-facing camera, MicroSD card support, and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with TouchWiz Nature UX. There is still no word on how much the S4 Mini is going to cost, but over €400 (unlocked) would make little sense. The older Galaxy S3 Mini – launched in November 2012 – currently costs about €260.
The regular Galaxy S4 Mini (which reportedly comes with a quad-core processor) has the model number GT- i9190, while the dual SIM version (with dual-core CPU) is the GT-i9192. There will also be an LTE edition GT-i9195, and one with TD-SCDMA connectivity made for China Mobile (GT-i9198).
Naturally, we’ll bring more details when the handset is finally announced.
