Sprint HTC One also launching on April 19. T-Mobile’s version will come with free car kit
AT&T isn’t the only US mobile carrier to announce the launch date of the HTC One today. Sprint has done it, too, and it turns out it’s going to start selling the new handset the same day as AT&T: April 19. However, Sprint will take pre-orders a day later than AT&T, namely on April 5.
Sprint’s HTC One will cost $199.99 on contract. The third largest North American operator will only offer the 32GB version of the device (in either silver, or black) – unlike AT&T, which is also going to sell the 64GB edition (for $299.99 on contract).
You can pre-register for the Sprint HTC One here.
T-Mobile will also offer the HTC One, but it’s not clear yet when exactly. In any case, T-Mo lets customers pre-register for the handset at this webpage, mentioning that it’s going to offer a free car kit to those who buy it online (while supplies last).
As you probably already know, the One is HTC’s flagship smartphone for 2013. It runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, featuring Sense 5.0 UI, a 4.7 inch Super LCD3 display with 1920 x 1080 pixels, LTE, Beats Audio sound, stereo speakers, 2GB of RAM, quad-core 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, 2.1MP front-facing camera, 4MP Ultrapixel rear camera, and a non-removable 2,300 mAh battery.
