Verizon’s Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX HD can now be yours for $79.99
A bit over two months ago, we brought you news that Verizon’s Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX HD was being sold by Amazon for the low, low price of $99.99 (which only applied to new customers, by the way, it was $50 more for existing customers).
It’s taken quite a while, more than we’re used to, but Amazon has now come through again and decided to make the Droid RAZR MAXX HD even cheaper. The extremely long-lasting handset can now be yours for just $79.99 with a new two-year contract with the carrier. Once again though, this is only valid for new customers. Those of you who are already with Verizon will need to shell out exactly $50 more. But that’s not a big deal, since even at $129.99 the RAZR MAXX HD is a good bargain, especially if you crave a smartphone that will last you one whole work day without issue.
Usually smartphone prices go down much faster at third-party retailers such as Amazon, but the RAZR MAXX HD has so far resisted this trend. That said, it too is almost certainly just a few months away from being offered for free with contract, so keep that in mind if you don’t simply have to buy one now. On the other hand, the already pretty outdated RAZR MAXX HD will be even more so as time goes by, so perhaps the price cuts make sense after all.
If you’re interested in getting one now, Amazon is your friend.
