T-Mobile iPhone 5, AT&T HTC One and Sprint HTC One all available for pre-order

Starting today, T-Mobile USA is accepting pre-orders for the Apple iPhone 5, which will be properly launched by the magenta carrier next week, on April 12.

T-Mobile is asking $99.99 upfront for its iPhone 5 (which, of course, is LTE-capable), plus monthly payments of $20 for two years.

Customers should be able to place orders online here, or in T-Mobile stores across the country. As Iā€™m sure you already know, T-Mobile is the last major US carrier to sell iPhones, after AT&T, Verizon and Sprint. It will also have the older iPhone 4S and iPhone 4 models.

In other news about handsets that are coming soon in the US, as of yesterday AT&T allows you to pre-order its HTC One. The new Jelly Bean smartphone is offered by the second largest North American carrier for $199.99 on contract.

Sprint has also opened pre-orders for the HTC One ā€“ here. For a limited time, Sprint lets select customers save $100 on the device, offering it for just $99.99 to those who bring their number to Sprint on a new line of service.

Both AT&T and Sprint expect to have the HTC One in stock on April 19 – when the unlocked Developer Edition of the handset will debut as well.

T-Mobile will sell the HTC One, too, but it looks like it will do it only starting May 1.

reasons. How much do you pay for gas? Again, apples and oranges, just
    very different markets.
