Samsung Galaxy Note III might come with new S Orb panorama software
While there’s still a long way until the Samsung Galaxy Note III will be released, we’re slowly learning more and more about it. The latest rumor has it that the Note III will come with S Orb – a panoramic photo feature similar to Google’s Photo Sphere which debuted on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
Android Geeks reports that Galaxy Note III is going to be the first Samsung device to have S Orb. After that, Samsung will included it in Android 5.0 Key Lime updates for the Galaxy S4, Galaxy S III, Note II and probably other high-end handsets. As always, this doesn’t mean the new feature will indeed make it on to the devices. Nothing is official until it’s official.
Still, it is not the first time we’re hearing about S Orb. It was rumored to come with the Galaxy S4, too – of course, it did not happen.
Samsung plans to announce the Galaxy Note III in September at IFA 2013, where new Galaxy Tab 3 models should be also introduced. Apart from bringing numerous software improvements, the Note III should also offer a 5.9 inch Full HD display, and an octa-core Exynoss processor. There are no details on its design at the moment, but Samsung probably doesn’t want to make it look different from the Note II (pictured above).
