Samsung Galaxy Express LTE i8730 available in the UK now, costs £314.39
Mobicity is selling the Galaxy Express for £314.39, meaning about €370 – way less than the suggested retail price for Germany (€489).
The i8730 isn’t too different from the Galaxy Express launched by AT&T in the US at the end of last year. It’s obviously not a high-end device. Its features include: a 4.5 inch Super AMOLED Plus WVGA display, dual-core 1.2 GHz processor, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with Glonass, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, 1.3MP front-facing camera, 5MP rear camera with LED flash and 720p video recording, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory, MicroSD card support (up to 32GB), and a 2,00 mAh battery. It comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box, weighs 139.1 grams, and measures 132.2 x 69.1 x 9.3 mm.
White is the only color version of the new handset.
Since the Galaxy Express i8730 has LTE connectivity, it might be released by EE – the only British network that provides LTE services at the moment. But there’s nothing official on this, so don’t get your hopes up.
The smartphone should be available across Asia as well, but we don’t know in what markets exactly.
