Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 GT-i9200 already available for pre-order, it’s pricey
While we’ve heard they might be launched starting June, the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 and Mega 5.8 have not been officially announced yet. Still, German retailer Notebooksbilliger is taking pre-orders for the Mega 6.3 as of today.
The device’s price is currently €699 – obviously more than its official price that will be revealed when Samsung starts shipping the new phablet (it should not cost more than €500).
(the image you’re seeing doesn’t show the Mega 6.3; it’s just a placeholder showing the Note II)
Sure enough, at times some retailers put unannounced devices on pre-order just to get traffic on their websites. However, Notebooksbilliger is well known in Germany, so that might not be the case here – this, of course, doesn’t mean you should go o and pre-order the Galaxy Mega 6.3.
From what we know until now, the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 should feature a 6.3 inch PLS display with 1280 x 720 pixels, Android Jelly Bean (4.1.2 or 4.2.2), Nature UX, Wi-Fi 80211 a/b/g/n, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, 2MP front-facing camera, 8MP rear camera, dual-core 1.7GHz Exynos processor, 1.5GB of RAM, and a 3,200 mAh battery. It’s going to measure 167.6 x 88 x 7.9mm.
The smaller Galaxy Mega 5.8 is supposedly a dual SIM device, coming with a qHD display, 1.4GHz dual-core CPU, and a 2,600 mAh battery.
