Pantech’s Full HD Vega Iron smartphone pictured, comes in black and white
Pantech has a new flagship Android smartphone, the Vega Iron IM-A870. As we told you last week, this will be officially announced on April 18. Until then, if you want to see what the handset looks like, we’ve discovered photos of it on a South Korea forum, alongside a reconfirmation of its main specs.
The Vega Iron will come in (at least) two color versions: black and white. It sports a 5 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) display – thus it can compete with the likes of Samsung Galaxy S4 and LG Optimus G Pro. Other features include: LTE, NFC, 13MP rear camera with LED flash, quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor (apparently clocked at 1.7GHz), 2GB of RAM, 16GB / 32GB of internal memory, a 2,150 mAh battery, and MicroSD card support. The smartphone will run Android 4.1.2 Jelly bean at launch, with an update to 4.2 probably coming soon after that.
We don’t know if Pantech is planning to release the Vega Iron outside Korea. But we’ll let you know when more details about its availability are unveiled.
