T-Mobile’s Samsung Galaxy S4 launches on April 24. Sprint starts taking pre-orders tomorrow
Yesterday both AT&T and US Cellular put the Samsung Galaxy S4 up for pre-order. Not eager to be outside the public’s attention for too long, Sprint and T-Mobile have announced some more details about their respective Galaxy S4 launches today.
Let’s start with Sprint. Samsung’s latest superphone will be up for pre-order tomorrow. Be advised though, the latest Galaxy won’t come cheap. $249.99 is what you’ll need to pony up, without taxes. And you’ll also have to sign a new two-year contract with the carrier.
For a limited time, new customers who bring their existing phone number to Sprint can get the Samsung Galaxy S4 for $149.99 upfront (the same contract needs to be signed though, obviously).
The Samsung Galaxy S4 will become available at Sprint on April 27.
Over on the magenta side, T-Mobile has finally decided to give us a press release regarding the Galaxy S4. The carrier will have the hotly anticipated device in stock on April 24 (which, incidentally, is the exact same day on which it should start selling the HTC One as well).
The Galaxy S4 can be paired with T-Mobile’s new Simple Choice plan, which doesn’t require a long term commitment from you. However, you will need to pay $149.99 upfront for the handset, and then 24 monthly payments of $20.
On April 24, the superphone will only be out online. General retail availability starts on May 1.
