T-Mobile’s Samsung Galaxy S4 not launching today, gets pushed back to Monday, April 29
Last we heard, T-Mobile’s Samsung Galaxy S4 was supposed to become available on April 24. That’s… today. Unfortunately though, the new flagship Android smartphone is nowhere to be seen at the magenta network. Nor will it be seen for a few more days.
This is bad news if you were eagerly waiting to go to TMo’s website and grab a Galaxy S4 for yourself. You still have some waiting to do. The handset will only be out on April 29. That’s the coming Monday.
This only applies to online ordering, mind you. If you actually want to pop into a brick and mortar store to get your Galaxy S4 fix, that can only happen starting on May 1. So if you order online on the first day, and if you’re lucky, you may receive the device a day earlier – on April 30. Or you can just wait it out 24 more hours and go to a store. The choice is yours, but the delay is real and it’s been confirmed by T-Mobile.
Apparently it has something to do with “an unexpected delay with inventory deliveries”. Well, whatever the reason, the only thing you can do now is wait. Keep on waiting.
