T-Mobile HTC One S updated to Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean

Back in December, when HTC started rolling-out an official Android Jelly bean update for the global edition of its One S handset, T-Mobile USA’s version wasn’t included.

But fret not, T-Mo’s One S is getting Jelly Bean (version 4.1.1) starting today. The update is Wi-Fi-only, weighing in at 675MB – so it’s consistent one. An official changelog has yet to be released, but some bugfixes alongside all the Jelly Bean goodies are certainly included.

At the moment, T-Mobile is offering the HTC One S for a downpayment of $ 9.99 and $15.00 per month for 24 months (or you can pay $369.99 upfront). Sure enough, you might want to buy the new HTC One instead ($99.99, plus $20 monthly payments for 2 years) – this comes with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean out of the box, featuring a 4.7 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) display, Sense UI 5, LTE connectivity, quad-core 1.7GHz Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory, and a 4MP Ultrapixel rear camera.
