AT&T-branded LG Optimus G Pro E980 pictured
Curious to know what AT&T’s LG Optimus G Pro looks like? Well, it doesn’t look too different from the black version of the smartphone seen earlier this month, although its rear cover seems to have been changed a bit.
Evleaks has posted an image showing the AT&T-bound Optimus G Pro – model number E980 – from two sides (front and back). The handset will obviously have LTE connectivity, and should run Android Jelly Bean at launch. That aside, we’re expecting a 5.5 inch Full HD display, NFC, quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of RAM, 13MP camera, 32GB of internal memory, and MicroSD card support.
If previous rumors are to be believed, the Optimus G Pro could go on sale at AT&T as soon as May 10. There’s no word on how much it’s going to cost, but $199 on contract is probably a good guess. We’ll hear more on this when LG kicks off its Optimus G Pro press event in New York City (on May 1).
AT&T is currently selling the older Optimus G (released last year, and offered for $99 on contract), as well as the LG Escape ($0.99 on contract).
It remains to be seen if the new Optimus G Pro will be available via multiple US carriers or not.
