Dual SIM Samsung Galaxy Win and Galaxy Fame available now

The single SIM version of Samsung’s Galaxy Fame (mode number S6810) was launched in Europe last month, and now it’s time for the dual SIM edition (S6812) to hit the shelves.

The Fame S6812 has been released in India yesterday, and it looks like this is the only country where it can be bought at the moment.

Priced at INR 10,900 (about $203), the Galaxy Fame Duos runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and features: a 3.5 inch HVGA (320 x 480) display, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, 1GHz single-core processor, 5MP rear camera, VGA front-facing camera, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of expandable memory, and a 1,300 mAh battery. Indian customers can buy it online at Flipkart, Infibeam, or Snapdeal.

Another Samsung smartphone that’s available only in India for now is the Galaxy Win Duos. It’s more expensive than the Fame, costing 17,900 INR (about $333). It can be bought from Infibeam or Snapdeal, offering: a 4.7 inch WVGA display, Android Jelly Bean, dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of memory, MicroSD card support, and a 2,000 mAh battery.

Both the Galaxy Win Duos and Galaxy Fame Duos should be introduced in other markets pretty soon – but don’t expect them to be available in too many Western European countries, and neither in North America.
