Samsung Galaxy Core looks like cheap and solid Dual SIM Android performer

Samsung likes us talking about and paying most attention to its flagship Galaxy S line, and smartphones like Galaxy S4. And, combined with a huge marketing budget, these top of the line phones help to propel Samsung’s brand.

But its much less talked about, low end and mid-range handsets like Galaxy Ace, Galaxy Mini or Galaxy Y, that allow Samsung to ship its smartphones in stupendous volumes – to the tune of 70 million units per quarter.

Today Samsung is adding another smartphone to its low-end Android smartphone line-up.

Samsung Galaxy Core

It’s called Galaxy Core and comes equipped with:

  • HSUPA 5.76 900/2100, EDGE/GPRS 850/900/1800/1900 connectivity
  • 1.2 GHz Dual Core CPU, 1GB of RAM
  • 4.3 inch WVGA (480×800) TFT LCD
  • Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean)
  • 5mpx main camera with LED flash, VGA front camera
  • Optional Dual SIM capability
  • Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Micro USB and USB 2.0
  • Accelerometer, GPS, Digital Compass sensors
  • 8GB of built-in memory, microSD card slot
  • 1800 mAh batter

The official price has not been announced yet, but Samsung Galaxy Core looks like a solid Android performer, that you should be able to get really cheap.
