Nokia’s Lumia 928 Windows Phone 8 handset gets its own webpage
Things like these don’t happen too often, but here it is: Nokia has officially confirmed the existence of its newest smartphone – the Lumia 928 – although it didn’t properly announce it (yet).
The 928 appears over at Nokia USA’s website, albeit without any details next to it. Still, Engadget has discovered an add which mentions that the new handset comes with Nokia’s PureView technology, plus Carl Zeiss lens. This is in line with the previous rumors regarding the smartphone. Other expected features: LTE connectivity, an HD PureMotion display (measuring 4.5 inches or more), Xenon flash, and a dual-core processor.
Needless to say, the Lumia 928 runs Windows Phone 8. Verizon Wireless may start selling it in the US this month – or in June. It’s not clear if the handset will be available through other North American carriers.
Most probably, the Lumia 928 will be announced by Nokia on May 14, when the Finnish company is going to host a press event in London. We might also see the Nokia Catwalk then.
