Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, Galaxy S4 Active, Galaxy S4 Zoom get rumored release dates for Europe

Samsung’s apparently got no less than three new Galaxy S4 variations in the works. The Mini, the Active, and the Zoom. You should however keep in mind that for now these are similar just in terms of branding to the already available Galaxy S4. And quite clearly they’ll all look similar, but their innards might in fact turn out to be quite different from the actual flagship model – just like the Galaxy S III Mini was not simply a smaller S III, but a different device altogether with some clever branding slapped on.

If you’ve been anxious about either of these three upcoming Galaxy S4s, or even the recently announced Galaxy Mega 5.8 and Galaxy Mega 6.3, here’s some good news for you. SamMobile claims to have received some tentative release dates in Europe for all of these products.

So here we go. The first one to see the light of day will be the black Galaxy Mega 6.3, which is due during week 19 (that’s this week, by the way). Next up, the white Galaxy Mega 5.8, which should be arriving next week. After that, the white Mega 6.3 will make its debut in week 21 (May 20-26). Then it will be the black Galaxy S4 Zoom’s turn to shine, in week 23 (June 3-9). Its white version will follow alongside the black Mega 5.8, both out in week 25 (June 17-23). Finally, during week 29 (July 15-21), we’ll see no less than three new models in stores, it seems: the Metallic Orange Galaxy S4 Active alongside the Galaxy S4 Mini in both white and black.

And that’s it. It’s unclear whether the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active, the rumored ruggedized version of the Galaxy S4, will be available in other, more tame color variations at some later point.

The official announcements for the Galaxy S4 Active, Galaxy S4 Zoom, and Galaxy S4 Mini should happen around the end of this month, so stay tuned.

Wondering about all these variations, like throwing spaghetti against the wall to see if they stick. Seems like if Samsung was smart, they should have combined the “Active” (rugged) with the “Zoom” (more powerful camera hardware) as a single S4 upgrade device.
