Verizon Samsung Galaxy S4 pre-orders arriving now to some customers
Verizon Wireless is the last major US mobile carrier to start selling the Samsung Galaxy S4. Although its official launch day is May 23, those who’ve pre-ordered Verizon’s S4 last week (or earlier) are starting to receive it as of today – according to Droid life.
You haven’t pre-ordered the S4 yet, you can get it from Verizon in either black, or white, for $199.99 on contract (or $649.99 without agreement).
Verizon is currently offering only the 16GB version of the handset – unlike AT&T, which is selling the 32GB version, too ($249.99 on contract).
Samsung may ship more than 10 million Galaxy S4 units around the world before the end of May, as the smartphone is its most successful to date.
Another new handset that Verizon has started selling recently is the Nokia Lumia 928. Unlike the Android Jelly Bean-powered Galaxy S4, the Lumia 928 runs Windows Phone 8, and costs only $99.99 on contract, being Verizon’s first handset to feature a PureView camera.
