LG’s Fabshare competition lets you win Optimus G Pro smartphones

LG’s new Optimus G Pro has many nice features, and perhaps one of the most useless among them is “Live Effects” – which lets you alter recorded videos in funny ways. Another feature is Dual Recording. Both make the subject of LG’s latest commercials uploaded on YouTube, and related to its new Fabshare contest that allow you to win Optimus G Pro handsets.

Open to US residents only, the contest asks participants to Follow @LGUSAMobile on Twitter, and tell the company “how the LG Optimus G Pro would make what you share more fabulous.” Five winners will receive an Optimus G Pro each, while one grand winner is also going to get “a year of mobile phone service and accessories awarded in the form of a $1,000.00 check.” Full details, including Terms and Conditions, are available here at LG.

Only AT&T is selling the Optimus G Pro in the US at the moment, for $199.99 on contract. Sprint should offer its own version of the smartphone in June, most likely for a similar price.

Sporting a 5.5 inch Full HD display, the Optimus G Pro is similar in size to Samsung’s Galaxy Note II, but slightly larger than the Galaxy S4 (these being two of its main competitors). The G Pro runs Android Jelly Bean, coming with a quad-core 1.7GHz Snapdragon 600 processor, LTE, 13MP rear camera, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of expandable memory.
