LG launches the Optimus G Pro in more Asian countries
Although the Optimus G Pro is LG’s current flagship smartphone, it hasn’t seen a wide launch until now, being released only in South Korea, Japan, and the US. But things are going to change come June, when the Android Jelly Bean handset will be introduced in more markets across Asia.
According to LG, the Optimus G Pro will be available in Hong Kong first. Later next month, it will also hit shelves in India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippine, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
It looks like Japan will remain the only country to have a 5 inch Optimus G Pro, as these new markets will get the 5.5 inch version.
Meanwhile, Sprint should release the LG Optimus Pro in the US at some point, too, ending AT&T’s exclusivity. Unfortunately, there is no official confirmation on this at the moment.
As for Europe, we don’t know if the Optimus G Pro will ever get here in an official manner.
