New LG Optimus F6 tipped for T-Mobile. Optimus F7 and Samsung Ativ Odyssey headed to US Cellular
LG’s F-Series debuted earlier this year with the F7 and F5 Android Jelly Bean smartphones, both promising to “bring a premium user experience and the speed of 4G LTE to a mass audience.” A third member of the series – LG Optimus F3 – has been spotted a couple of weeks ago, and now we’re seeing the fourth one: LG Optimus F6.
Appeared in a photo posted by EVleaks, the Optimus F6 is seemingly made for T-Mobile USA. Unfortunately, other details are nonexistent at the moment, so we don’t know anything about its features. In any case, its name suggest that the F6 should be better equipped than the F5 (4.3 inch qHD display, 1GB of RAM, dual-core 1.2GHz processor), but slightly lower-end when compared to the F7 (4.7 inch HD screen, 2GB of RAM, dual-core 1.5GHz processor).
Speaking of the F7, this should be launched by US Cellular soon – at least according to a document obtained by Engadget:
Back to LG, the South Korean company is getting ready to announce two other new Android smartphones: Optimus L4 II (with a dual SIM version), and Optimus L9 II. While the L4 II will probably be released only in Europe and Asia, the L9 II might make it to North America (since the first Optimus L9 was launched by T-Mobile there last year).
