BlackBerry Q10 now available online at Verizon, yours for $199.99
Following in the footsteps of T-Mobile, the carrier that released the BlackBerry Q10 yesterday, Verizon now has the latest QWERTY-endowed BlackBerry available for order. One caveat though: you need to order online, as the BlackBerry Q10 isn’t yet to be found in Verizon stores (and those of its partners). If for some reason you simply must purchase your Q10 from the brick-and-mortar variety of store, you need to wait until June 10 (that’s next Monday) in order to be able to do so.
However, if ordering online is more your thing, you’re in luck. You can go directly to this page at Verizon and add a BlackBerry Q10 to your cart – you know what to do after that. The price you need to pay is $199.99 with a new two-year contract. Alternatively if you don’t want to commit to a long-term agreement with Big Red, you can purchase the Q10 outright for $599.99.
The BlackBerry Q10 is the first device to run BlackBerry’s newest operating system, BlackBerry 10, and come with a full physical QWERTY keyboard, the hallmark of past handsets from the Canadian company. As such, it’s clearly been a hotly anticipated smartphone, and now you finally have a chance of owning it if your carrier of choice is Verizon.
