Samsung Galaxy S III with LTE support finally gets released by T-Mobile
After having been rumored for more than five months, the LTE-enabled version of the Samsung Galaxy S III is now finally available for purchase over at T-Mobile. The magenta carrier is selling this device because it’s recently decided to invest in LTE like its competitors, instead of resorting to perpetually calling HSPA+ “4G”. The Galaxy S III that T-Mobile released last year did not have LTE connectivity built-in, because at the time the carrier didn’t need it, hence the necessity for a new launch.
Obviously this LTE-capable Galaxy S III for T-Mobile is basically identical to the Galaxy S III versions that the other three of the big four carriers have been selling for many months now, save for the all-important difference of supporting T-Mobile’s spectrum.
If you’re interested in picking one of these up, you can head over to T-Mobile right now and do just that. You can either pay $549.99 outright, or put down $69.99 when you get the handset, and then deal with 24 monthly payments of $20 to pay it off completely. The choice is yours.
