HTC’s 5.9 inch One Max (T6) could look like this

The rumored 5.9 inch HTC T6 phablet may be called HTC One Max when it hits shelves later this year. Such a name certainly makes sense, since we’re also going to have an HTC One Mini. It also makes sense if the T6 / One Max looks like just like a bigger HTC One. And, according to Dutch website MobiLeaks, it does.

The website has a sketch of the One Max, implying that it’s going to be 140.4mm tall, and 9.4mm thin. This would make it only slightly larger than the regular One, which measures 137.4 x 68.2 x 9.3 mm. So how could the One Max sport a 5.9 inch display, when the One has a 4.7 inch screen? Well, the phablet is wider, and also has a much thinner bezel around the display.

Full HD large screen aside, HTC’s phablet should feature a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, Ultrapixel rear camera, Boom Sound speakers, and a 3,300 mAh battery. Android Key Lime Pie is also among its rumored features – but let’s not get our hopes up just yet.

The HTC One Max / T6 is expected to be released sometime in the third quarter of the year. It will have to compete with the likes of Samsung Galaxy Note III, and Sony Xperia ZU (Togari).

“when the One has a 5.7 inch screen”..
    did you mean 4.7 inch….

That means the 5.9″ display (+/- 128*79 mm) will fit into a 140,4 mm long device?
I really hope it could but I think it won’t be possible with HTC BoomSound speakers and sensitive buttons.
If this is true (and the others specs too), it will be mine!

Yep, of course I meant 4.7. Typo. Thanks for noticing!
