Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 launching in July?
Samsung unveiled its brand new Galaxy Ace 3 smartphone yesterday, without saying exactly when it would be available. But we’re now seeing that it could happen in July – at least in the UK, where Carphone Warehouse plans to offer the handset starting next month.
There’s no word on how much the Ace 3 will cost, but it shouldn’t be too much anyway.
The new Galaxy Ace 3 runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and features a 4 inch display with 800 x 480 pixels, 5MP rear camera, VGA front-facing camera, dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and MicroSD card support. It’s only a bit larger than the older Ace 2 (launched in the first half of 2012), measuring 121.2 x 62.7 x 9.8 mm.
Carphone Warehouse is listing only the 4G LTE edition of the Galaxy Ace 3 (model number GT-S7275) – this comes with 8GB of internal memory, NFC, and a 1,800 mAh battery. The dual SIM model (GT-S7272) might also be available in the UK, but there’s no confirmation on this at the moment.
July is also the month when the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active should be released in the UK. The S4 Active will obviously be more expensive than the Ace 3, since it’s a waterproof version of the high-end Galaxy S4 (expect to pay more than £500 for it).
